Concrete is the most widely used construction material on the planet because of its supreme durability and cost effectiveness. But, not even concrete can last forever. Over time concrete can start to break down due to settling, weather, physical abuse and other circumstances. In very rare cases, concrete must be removed and replaced, which is an extremely expensive and invasive process. Luckily, 99% of the time AZ Grind and Coat can restore worn concrete surfaces to a better than new state utilizing diamond grinding equipment and cementitious resurfacing materials.

Surface Preparation
The resurfacing process begins like anything else... surface preparation. As we are dedicated to diamond grinding almost everything before adding a decorative finish, that is where we start. Take a look at the concrete grinding section for more info.

ResurfacingSpecially formulated cement materials are applied in thin layers to create a new concrete surface. The new surface can be ultra smooth, mildly textured or heavily textured depending on desired use and look. Concrete can be colored using integral pigments, or concrete stains to achieve a variegated look.
